<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and cost-effective machine for equipping of articles which has high flexibility and good accessibility. <P>SOLUTION: The machine for the equipping of articles 40 such as containers has at least one carrousel 1, with at least one free-standing labeling device 30 installed on the periphery of the carrousel for the equipping of the articles 40, and with synchronously driven transporting elements 3, 4, 5, 6 for the position complying feed and carrying away of the articles 40.
