Embodiments disclosed relate to communication, and more particularly to picture based communication systems and methods. It is proposed that the techniques described in the present invention will allow systems to be created rapidly for a large number of languages. The present system also has a number of other benefits, which are of use to people who may not necessarily be disabled. For example, the present system could be incorporated into software running on PCs and mobile devices as a part of a message composition system; this will allow language-independent messages to be constructed, which can be de-constructed into any language on the receiver's side. Techniques discussed in this invention would also be of assistance in allowing people with language difficulties, dyslexia or illiteracy to communicate effectively. |
