<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium processing device for surely preventing a failure or the like of a medium conveying mechanism due to collision, and in which media transportation processing is not performed when stacking height of a medium in a medium storage unit exceeds a stacker full level. <P>SOLUTION: In a media processing device 200, if a stacking state of a medium in medium storage units 121 and 122 is at a stacker full level or exceeds the stacker full level (step S33: Yes, step S35: Yes), a warning of the stacker full level is given (step S34, step S36).
