<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus etc. to resolve continuous and/or relative and quick volume change with relation to time without deteriorating image quality even when a cone angle is relatively large. <P>SOLUTION: The X-ray CT apparatus etc. combine a first subset of projection data collected along a continuous circular orbit with projection data collected along a different orbit from the circular orbit to reconstruct volume data substantially at the timing when the subset of projection data is collected. For example, a linear or helical orbit can be employed for the different orbit from the circular orbit. Further, a second subset of the projection data collected along a continuous circular orbit staggered from the first subset can also be used.
