PURPOSE: An environmentally-friendly revetment block with illite minerals and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve water purification effects by emitting anions and far infrared rays to the outside. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of an environmentally-friendly revetment block with illite minerals is as follows. Silicified wood, alum shale, and illite, which are natural minerals, are pulverized in a size of less than 20-25 micrometers and processed. A binder is prepared by uniformly mixing 7-10wt% of pulverized illite with 53-56wt% of blast furnace slag cement, 8-10wt% of slaked lime, 6-9wt% of elvan, 9-12wt% of plaster, and 9-12wt% of blast furnace slag using a mixer. A composition is prepared by mixing 1-5wt% of pulverized silicified wood and 1-5wt% of pulverized alum shale with 30-35wt% of the binder, 55-60wt% of aggregate, and 4-6wt% of mixing agent. The composition is supplied to a mold, and vibration is applied to the mold to mold a revetment block. The molded revetment block is cured for 5 to 7 days.
