摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving method for a light-emitting device for correcting threshold voltage and correcting the potential of an anode while suppressing a load on a driving circuit side. <P>SOLUTION: A first potential is supplied to a drain of a transistor, and a second potential lower than the first potential is supplied to a cathode of a light-emitting element. A source of the transistor is connected to an anode of the light-emitting element. A voltage between a gate electrode and the source of the transistor is held by a capacitor. In a first period, the gate electrode receives a third potential, which is lower than a potential obtained by adding a threshold voltage of the transistor and a threshold voltage of the light-emitting element to the second potential, and the source receives a fourth potential, which is lower than a potential obtained by subtracting the threshold voltage of the transistor from the third potential. In a second period, supply of the fourth potential to the source is stopped. In a third period, supply of the third potential to the gate electrode is stopped.
