METHOD FOR PRODUCING METALLIC POWDER, METALLIC POWER, ULTRAVIOLET CURABLE INKJET COMPOSITION, AND RECORDED MATTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet curable inkjet composition excelling in storage stability and suitably usable for the formation of a pattern (printed part) excelling in glossiness and scuff resistance, metallic powder used for producing the ultraviolet curable inkjet composition, a method for efficiently producing the metallic powder, and a recorded matter having the pattern excelling in glossiness and scuff resistance which is formed using the ultraviolet curable inkjet composition.

SOLUTION: The method for producing the metallic powder used for producing the ultraviolet curable inkjet composition to be ejected by an inkjet method includes a film forming process for forming a film comprising the metallic material by a vapor-phase film forming method; a surface treatment process for applying surface treatment to the surface of the film; and a pulverizing process for pulverizing the surface-treated film.
