PURPOSE: An online naming system which a level is displayed and a naming method thereof are provided to display a level of naming by suggesting the selection standard when a naming client selects the naming, thereby enabling the naming client to select proper naming. CONSTITUTION: A last name is inputted from a client terminal. A client selects a corresponding Chinese character or the last name composed of a Chinese character. Birth information of the client is inputted. Birthplace information is inputted from the client terminal. The corresponding Chinese character is selected or inputted among Chinese characters stored in a database.
