<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser array light source unit which can dissipate the heat generated from a semiconductor laser efficiently, can be assembled easily, and has such a configuration as multiple semiconductor lasers are separated physically and electrically even when they are arranged tightly. <P>SOLUTION: A laser array light source unit comprises multiple semiconductor lasers each consisting of a body and a leg consisting of two lead electrodes, a laser holder having a receiving surface for holding the body and provided with a through hole into which the leg is inserted, a presser member which fixes the semiconductor lasers to the laser holder, an insulator having multiple electrode insertion parts having through holes into which respective lead electrodes are inserted, and a wiring base material which connects more than one semiconductor lasers electrically in parallel. The insulator has coupling parts for connecting the electrode insertion parts in the same direction as the arrangement direction of the multiple semiconductor lasers, and the wiring base material is provided with first through holes into which the lead electrodes of the semiconductor lasers are inserted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
