<p>This invention is provided with: a plurality of servers (12); an in-home device (2); a NAT router (3); and a polling server (11) for returning to the in-home device (2) a response signal indicating the presence of a communication request from the server (12) when a communication request to the in-home device (2) is received from a server (12) and a question signal is subsequently received from the in-home device (2). When a response signal indicating the presence of a communication request from the server (12) has been received from the polling server (11), the in-home device (2) commences communication with the server (12) that sent the communication request. Even when a terminal requests a plurality of servers, it is possible to minimize the communication amount of polling communication.</p> |
