PURPOSE: An electronic black board system, pointing device, and control method thereof are provided to prevent information loss by preventing signal interference between the coordinate information in a coordinate information transmission process. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of pointing devices(210,220) calculates the coordinate information of a touch location on a display panel(130). A first pointing device transmits first coordinate information corresponding to a touch location of the first pointing device to an image processing unit. A second pointing device transmits second coordinate information corresponding to a touch location of the second pointing device to the image processing unit.
