<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To selectively control the optical system of an electronic camera through an intuitive operation by an operator. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic camera includes a first optical system, a first image capturing unit which captures the image of a subject passed through the first optical system to generate data of a first image, a first driving unit which drives the first optical system, a second optical system, a second image capturing unit which captures the image of fingers of the operator passed through the second optical system to generate data of a second image, a detection unit which detects finger information of the operator from the data of the second image generated by the second image capturing unit, a determination unit which determines driving control over the first optical system on the basis of the finger information detected by the detection unit, and a control unit which controls the first driving unit according to the driving control determined by the determination unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
