<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular airbag device capable of greatly improving sealing performance of an airbag of a type in which an inflator is inserted to an inside of the airbag from an insertion port. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular airbag device includes: an airbag 1 formed of a base fabric 2 into a bag shape; the insertion port 4 formed on the airbag for inserting the inflator 3 with a harness 5 to the inside of the airbag; a pocket 9 formed of an auxiliary fabric 7 arranged in the periphery of the insertion port, with a port section 8 being opened toward inside the airbag and holding the inflator therein; a cover arranged in the airbag and shielding the periphery of the port section of the pocket from the insertion port side; a reinforcing fabric 13 arranged inside the pocket overlaid on the base fabric forming the airbag and forming a sleeve 14 inside the airbag for inserting the harness; a first communication hole 15 penetratingly formed in the reinforcing fabric and making the sleeve communicate toward inside the pocket; and a second communication hole 16 penetratingly formed in the base fabric at a distance from the first communication hole and making the sleeve communicate toward outside the airbag. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
