Device and method for identifying mechanical parameters of a linear induction motor without using a position sensor

The method involves setting constant voltage along specific direction to generate constant magnetic flux. A test signal voltage is applied along the axis direction to a linear induction motor (09), while maintaining constant power based on deflection movement of secondary unit (11) of linear induction motor. The current signal of the primary unit (13) of the motor is measured. The mechanical characteristic values of motor are identified based on the test signal voltage and measured current signal. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) motor control device; and (2) method for setting the control parameters of motor control device.
