PURPOSE: A motorcycle tire is provided to improve transient response by limiting the deployment length of a tread from the inflection point of a main inclined groove to the outer circumference of a narrow belt ply. CONSTITUTION: A motorcycle tire(1) comprises a carcass, a belt layer(7), a belt ply, and a tread unit. The carcass is extended toward a bead core(5) of a bead unit(4) from the tread unit. The belt layer is placed inside the tread unit. The belt ply comprises a wide ply(7A) and a narrow ply(7B). The narrow ply is placed corresponding to the center of the wide ply. The tread unit is extended toward the outside of the tire. The tread unit comprises a main inclined groove(12) which is separately installed in a circumferential direction. The main inclined groove comprises a inner inclined part and an outer inclined part.
