<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axle box supporting structure simplified in configuration and excellent in maintainability. <P>SOLUTION: In the axle box supporting structure 1, one of axle springs 4 is formed of a coil spring 14 and the other one of the axle springs 4 is formed of cone laminated rubber 16. Therefore, the cone laminated rubber 16 eliminates the need of a guiding structure for increasing horizontal supporting rigidity in the coil spring 14, thereby simplifying the structure. This improves the maintainability for assembling and adjusting the coil spring 14. The coil spring 14 also reduces an influence of deterioration caused by the elastic support of the cone laminated rubber 16 in a vertical direction. In this manner, a change of a spring constant caused by the deterioration of the cone laminated rubber 16 can be suppressed, thereby reducing loads of a periodical check and adjusting work and improving the maintainability. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
