PURPOSE: A battery charging device and an electric vehicle including the same are provided to prevent damage to a switching element by including a slot to support the switching element. CONSTITUTION: A PCB(161) is installed in an enclosure. A switching element(166b) is mounted on the PCB. A slot(215) is formed on a heat conductive member. A guide(210) is protruded to the switching element. A filler material(187) is filled in the slot. A cooling unit(190) is installed on a lower area of the enclosure.
