PURPOSE: A group play service providing method and a server thereof are provided to enable users to feel a sense of belonging for a group, thereby enabling the users to know the new fun through a community service in an online game. CONSTITUTION: Information of users involved in a group which is composed of at least one user is analyzed(S10). The information for a play region which the users are involved is received. A match play between the users, the group which the users are involved, and users involved in other groups is provided(S20). A group point is provided as the group which the user is involved(S30). The group with the highest group point is set up as a leader group(S50).
