PURPOSE: A junction box cooling device having a metallic case using heat pipes is provided to prevent thermal shutdown through rapid cooling. CONSTITUTION: A junction box cooling device having a metallic case includes a heap pipe(14). The heap pipe is connected between a junction box case(11) having heat sinks(12) and a car body. Since the heat generated from the junction box is delivered to a vehicle body of temperature relatively lower than temperature of the box, the temperature of the junction box is lowered.
