Disclosed is a compound of formula (I) which is a fatty acid acetylated salicylate derivative, a fatty acid acetylated diflunisal derivative, a fatty acid acetylated triflusal derivative or 3-(4Z,7Z,10Z,13Z,16Z,19Z)-docosa-4,7,10,13,16,19-hexaenamidobenzoic acid. Also disclosed are methods of treating non-human animals for inflammation with the compounds and a pharmaceutical composition comprising the compounds. Further disclosed is the use of the compound for the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of inflammation.
