PURPOSE: A protein with an antigen activity to liver flukes is provided to produce antigen proteins with high specificity and sensitivity and to be used as an immunogen or an immunostimulant for preventing or treating liver fluke infection. CONSTITUTION: A protein with an antigen activity to liver flukes contains a fragment of an amino acid selected from sequence numbers 1-4. A gene encoding the protein is a fragment of a base selected from sequence numbers 5-8. A composition for diagnosing liver flukes contains the protein as an active ingredient. A vaccine composition for preventing or treating liver flukes contains the protein as an active ingredient.
