The present invention is a production method for a thermosetting resin porous sheet, the method comprising: a step of, while rotating a cylindrical or columnar thermosetting resin block containing porogen around the cylinder axis or column axis thereof, bringing a cutting tool into contact with the thermosetting resin block and cutting a thermosetting resin into a sheet shape having a predetermined thickness; and a step of removing porogen from the obtained thermosetting resin sheet to make the obtained thermosetting resin sheet porous, and the cutting is performed while the cutting tool is moved back and forth approximately parallel to the direction of the rotation axis of the thermosetting resin block.
