METHOD FOR PRODUCING LIGHT GUIDE PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a light guide plate by which the occurrence of a bright spot can be suppressed.

SOLUTION: The method for producing the light guide plate has a sheet production step and a transfer step. The transfer step includes: a pressing step of pressing a continuous resin sheet by holding it between a pressing roll and a shaping roll; a conveyance step of conveying the continuous resin sheet while being in close contact with a peripheral surface of the shaping roll; and a peeling step of peeling the continuous resin sheet from the peripheral surface of the shaping roll. Temperature of the extruded resin in the sheet production step is in a range of (Tg+110)°C and (Tg+200)°C with respect to glass transition temperature Tg of the resin. Temperature of the shaping roll is in a range of (Tg-25)°C and (Tg-5)°C. A ratio (D/P) of depth D of each of a plurality of recesses formed at a transfer mold to a pitch P of the plurality of recesses is in a range of 0.05 and 0.45. A plurality of protrusions corresponding to the plurality of recesses are formed on the surface of the light guide plate.
