<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine that prevents dirt from depositing on the rear face of a rotary blade disposed at the inner bottom face of an inner tub even with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: A washing machine comprises: a housing; an outer tub that is supported as vibration-proof in the housing and retains water therein; an inner tub that is rotatably supported in the outer tub and houses laundry therein; a driving device that rotationally drives the inner tub; a rotary blade that is disposed at the inner bottom of the inner tub and rotationally driven; and water supply means for supplying water into the outer tub. A rinsing process for spraying rinse water to the laundry is conducted with the outer tub filled with water at its bottom by the water supply means. After discharging the water used in the rinsing process, the inner tub is rotated at a higher speed than the rotational speed of the inner tub in the rinsing process while a predetermined water level is maintained, to clean the rear face of the rotary blade. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
