<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for molding a friction material that preliminarily molds a friction material for a brake readily. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 for molding a friction material that preliminarily molds the friction material for a brake includes: a molding flask member 6 including a first molding flask 4 and a second molding flask 3 to be combined with each other so as to form a mold for preliminarily molding; a compressing member 5 that is moved through the first molding flask 4 to compress the friction material stored in the mold for preliminarily molding and molds a preform in the second molding flask 3; and a movement means for separating the second molding flask 3 in which the preform is molded, from the first molding flask 4 and conveying the second molding flask to a device for final molding. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
