<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce ripple current flowing in a second load from a neutral point, to make a capacitor of a filter device small, to miniaturize the device and to reduce switching loss when neutral point voltage of a multi-phase motor is controlled and a secondary battery is charged by controlling a zero phase voltage in a state where the motor is stopped. <P>SOLUTION: A controller 20 of the motor drive system includes a zero phase control section 21 and a PWM generation section 22. In the state where a positive phase voltage command value contributed to motor driving is set to be zero and a motor M is stopped, a PWM pulse is generated so that a phase of the PWM pulse to at least a switching element with one phase in an inverter INV becomes different from a PWM pulse to a switching element of the other phase, desirably the respective phases have the same phase difference to control charging of a secondary battery BAT<SB POS="POST">2</SB>as a second load. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
