PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for reflection type color display are provided to control the rotation or movement of particles which has different threshold values by controlling the intensity and the direction, etc of electric field or magnetic field. CONSTITUTION: A first particle and a second particle are supplied by electric field or magnetic field. At least one particle among the first particle and the second particle is rotated or moved. At least one of the light of the first wave length and light of the second wave length is reflected by rotation or movement of at least one particle. The magnetic and electric field threshold values of twp particles are different. |
