A novel position calculation method that combines the use of the measurement results of a satellite positioning unit and an inertial positioning unit is proposed. A coupling processor (7) performs a coupling process using first measurement results of a satellite positioning unit (3) and second measurement results of an inertial positioning unit (5). A signal acquisition assist information computer (9) uses the results of the coupling process and estimates the Doppler frequency (signal acquisition assist information) when an unused satellite signal is acquired in the coupling process. The satellite positioning unit (3) acquires an unused satellite signal using the Doppler frequency estimated by the signal acquisition assist information computer (9).
