<p>Provided is a magnetic fastener that tolerates long-term use and is easily produced. A magnetic fastener (10) in which multiple magnetic elements (12) are lined up along the longitudinal direction on the side edges of a pair of mutually facing fastener tapes (11) and the mutually facing elements are connected to each other by magnetism, wherein: each magnetic element (12) is provided with a main body (21) made of a synthetic resin and a magnetic body (22) embedded in the main body (21); the two ends (14a, 14b) of the magnetic body (22) in the longitudinal direction of the tape are both exposed from the main body (21); and the areas of cross-sections of both exposed ends (14), which are cross-sections orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the tape, decrease gradually as the ends extend away from the main body (21) along the longitudinal direction of the tape.</p> |
