<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner that can facilitate removal of dust adhered to or stuck in a filter inside a dust collection container, as well as dust adhered to an inner wall or bottom part of the dust collection container. <P>SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner includes: an electric blower 2; the dust collection container 3 removably attached to a vacuum cleaner body 1, and for collecting dust; a dust remover 45 arranged in the dust collection container 3, and for adding impact such as vibration to a filter (not shown) for collecting dust, thereby removing the collected dust from the filter; a fan 21 for delivering the air to the side of a filter opposite to the side for collecting dust; a DC power supply 47 for supplying power for actuating the dust remover 45 and the fan 21; and a controller 42 for controlling the operation of the dust remover 45 and the fan 21. The vacuum cleaner actuates the dust remover 45 while delivering the air to the filter through the fan 21, allowing dust stuck in the filter to be removed therefrom, thus improving the dust removal performance of the filter, and reducing degradation of suction force and maintaining strong suction force. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
