<p>A loopback detection method and system can realize the OAM loopback detection function of the Ethernet in an ECMP scenario. The method includes: a source maintenance end point sending a loopback message to a destination maintenance point, the loopback message including the flow identifier corresponding to a designated transmission path in a plurality of equivalent transmission paths to the destination maintenance point; the destination maintenance point sending a loopback reply message to the source maintenance end point after receiving the loopback message, the loopback reply message including the flow identifier corresponding to a reverse common-path transmission path to the source maintenance end point; and the source maintenance end point returning a notification that the loopback detection has succeeded after receiving the loopback reply message and there having been no error in detection.</p> |
