PURPOSE: A method for detecting leak of oxygen and hydrogen is provided to detect the leakage of reaction gas such as oxygen, hydrogen, etc. in a fuel cell system. CONSTITUTION: A method for detecting leak of oxygen and hydrogen comprises: a step of judging whether or not a soaking time is more than a preset critical soaking time when the starting of a vehicle is detected; a step of judging whether or not an idle time after starting the vehicle is more than a preset critical idle time; a step of closing an oxygen outlet valve(120) and a hydrogen outlet valve(130) in case the idle time is more than the critical idle time; a step of supplying oxygen and hydrogen to make respective standards pressure in an air blower(40) and a hydrogen inlet valve(70) for detection time; and a step of measuring the pressure of an oxygen outlet(140) and a hydrogen outlet(150) for the detection time.
