<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic device for measuring the modulus of elasticity of a vascular wall, by which a blood vessel anterior wall can be confirmed by a B-mode image and a blood vessel diameter can be detected from the B-mode image. <P>SOLUTION: Transmission/reception of ultrasonic waves by harmonic imaging is incorporated at prescribed intervals into transmission/reception based on fundamental waves, and both the B-mode image based on the fundamental waves and an ultrasonic image by harmonic imaging are generated, thereby solving the problem. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
