<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of preventing discomfort from being given to a user due to a temperature rise of a support mounting section. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes a support mounting section 19 capable of mounting a support 40. The support mounting section 19 includes: a support fixing section 31 which is arranged on a bottom surface section in a body housing 3 and includes a screw hole 31a capable of mounting a screw section 40a of the support 40; a support receiving section 32 which is arranged around an opening section 3a provided to be communicated with the screw hole 31a at the bottom of the body housing 3 and on which a receiving section 40b of the support 40 abuts.
