Disclosed is a device for automatically making ball-shaped ice. The device for automatically making ball-shaped ice according to one embodiment of the present invention consists essentially of: a lower frame having a plurality of lower concave hemispheric recesses in an upper surface thereof, and a refrigerant passage therein, wherein a refrigerant passes through the refrigerant passage; a water-supply part which is installed on a side portion of the lower frame in order to supply water to the lower frame; an upper frame which is vertically movable over the lower frame and which has a plurality of upper concave hemispheric recesses in a lower surface thereof and a refrigerant passage therein, wherein each of the upper hemispheric recesses is arranged opposite the lower hemispheric recesses so as to form a space for making ball-shaped ice, and refrigerant passes through the refrigerant passage; a refrigerant-supply part for supplying refrigerant to the refrigerant passage so as to refrigerate water stored in the space for making ball-shaped ice; an ice-collection part which is installed on the side portion of the lower frame and which pushes ice floating in the lower frame to a side so as to collect the ice; and a separating part which is arranged under the lower frame in order to separate dropped ice and water from each other.
