The present invention relates to a single-strand PNA aptamer having a specific three-dimensional structure due to complementary base binding, to a production method for the PNA aptamer, and to a method for isolating a target metal by using a PNA aptamer that binds specifically to the target metal. More specifically, the production method for the PNA aptamer comprises: a first step of designing the base sequence of a PNA aptamer so as to be able to form two or more complementary base bonds; and a second step of synthesising the PNA aptamer designed in accordance with the first step; while the method for isolating a target metal comprises a step of bringing a sample containing the target metal into contact with a PNA aptamer that is specific to the target metal; a step of isolating a target metal-PNA aptamer complex from the sample; and a step of recovering the target metal.
