<p>The method involves closing a shut-off valve (4) and a control valve (5) in another closed shut-off valve (7), and opening the latter shut-off valve, where the fuel volume (V1) located in fuel line section (1') and in the discharge line (6') is removed. The fuel volume is filled by a pressure-driven rear flow of fuel from the combustion process (3).
