PURPOSE: A connector having a cam operating portion which presses a connection object being rotated is provided to enable a cam operation unit of an actuator to rotate a ground shell consisting of a material which is different from that of a cam operation unit and to reduce frictional coefficient. CONSTITUTION: A plug(11) includes a plate type or a sheet-like connection object(13), a ground shell(14) and a guide(17). A receptacle(21) includes a contact unit(23) and an actuator(24). The actuator includes a cam operation unit(24a) consisting of a material which is different from that of a cam operation unit. When the actuator is operated in a coupling state of the receptacle and the plug, the cam operation unit is rotated in the ground shell. A contact unit(23d) pressurizes the connection object.
