PURPOSE: A backlight assembly for supplying electric power to a light-emitting element via a connector, and a backlight unit and a liquid crystal display which use the backlight assembly are provided to reduce man hour by omitting a process for connecting a harness to a front substrate and a rear substrate. CONSTITUTION: A first connector(24) is inserted into a second connector(32). The electrical connection is formed between a first and a second connector regardless of a gap between a feeding substrate(31) and a chassis(3). A connector contact portion of the first connector has an active contact length. A back light assembly counteracts a change in the position of the feeding substrate and the chassis caused by a change in the contacting point of the first and the second connector.
