PURPOSE: A drying termination control method in a heat pump type dryer is provided to control a drying termination process by sensing power consumption rates from a heat pump. CONSTITUTION: After a drying process is started, a dryer operates a compressor. A dryer measures power consumption and current consumption from the compressor after the compressor is operated for 30 minutes(a). When the power and the current consumption of the measured compressor are smaller than the set power and current consumption, the dryer controls a drying termination process(b).
