<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric kettle which is designed to prevent steam from coming upward out of the lid body side by dispensing with a steam discharge opening discharging the steam to the top face of the lid body. <P>SOLUTION: In the electric kettle, which includes a vessel body 1 having an inner vessel 3 storing a liquid and a heating means (electric heater 4) for heating the inner vessel 3 and the lid body 2 covering the upper portion side opening of the vessel body 1, a steam route 15 connecting a steam inlet 16 communicating with the inner vessel 3 and a steam outlet 17 opening outside the lid body 2 is formed in the lid body 2 to make the majority of steam S introduced from the steam inlet 16 form dew in the process of flowing through the steam route 15, and the steam route 15 is made to have a downward slope portion toward the steam inlet 16 side to make the majority of the team S caused in the inner vessel 3 form dew in the process of flowing through the steam route 15 after introduced from the steam inlet 16, and then to make formed dew W flow back into the inner vessel 3 through the steam route 15 having the downward slope portion toward the steam inlet 16 side during boiling. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
