<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic endoscope apparatus for acquiring an accurate and bright spectral image by the band-limiting light of a desired wavelength band. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic endoscope apparatus includes: a wavelength filter unit which is provided with first and second transmission substrates where reflection films are formed on the mutually facing surfaces, and a drive unit for moving the first transmission substrate with respect to the second transmission substrate thereby to change an interval between the transmission substrates, and also which filters white light to be made incident on the first transmission substrate from a light source device thereby to make the band limiting light with a predetermined wavelength corresponding to the interval between the transmission substrates be transmitted in the direction opposite to the light source device, and reflects the light with a wavelength other than that of the band limiting light in the direction of the light source device; and a wavelength distribution detector for receiving a part of the reflection light to be reflected against the wavelength filter unit and detecting the wavelength distribution of the light with the wavelength other than that of the band limiting light; and a controller for controlling the drive unit to make the band limiting light have predetermined wavelength distribution, based on the wavelength distribution of the light with the wavelength other than that of the band limiting light, which is detected by the wavelength distribution detector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
