A device for detecting an error in a dual controller system, according to the present invention, comprises a first controller, a CAN transceiver, and a second controller. The first controller yields first data by receiving and calculating inputted detection data from a sensor, and outputs final data when the first data and second data, which is transmitted from the second controller, are compared and no error is detected. The CAN transceiver receives the final data from the first controller and transmits same through a CAN bus. The second controller yields the second data by receiving and calculating the inputted detection data from the sensor, and transmits an interruption signal for stopping the output of the final data to the first controller when the first data and the second data are compared and an error is detected. As a result, stability and reliability of the output data can be enhanced by controlling transmission output to a vehicle when an error occurs from each area, and by repeatedly verifying a risk factor that can be generated by the error so as to block the output of erroneous risky data. |
