<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling an elevator system which achieves rocking reduction improved in comparison with a conventional method. <P>SOLUTION: Elongation members (30, 32 and 34) that may rock under a certain condition are included by the elevator system (20). The illustrative method for controlling the elevator system (20) selectively controls an operation schedule of an elevator cage in the presence of a condition that causes the rocking of one of the elongation members (30, 32 and 34). The method for controlling the operation schedule of the elevator cage controls a time when the elevator cage stays in a predetermined critical zone in the presence of the condition, so that the time when the elevator cage stays in the predetermined critical zone cannot exceed a predetermined length of time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
