<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary shaft of a linear motion guide device which is applicable to a long slider. <P>SOLUTION: The temporary shaft 30 temporarily holds a slider of the linear motion guide device, and includes a connecting means for connecting with other temporary shafts in an axial direction in at least one axial end thereof.
