An operating method for a heat pump including an information acquisition step for acquiring, per unit of time, the generated power, load power, surplus power, and size of impact, and an operation control step for controlling the operation of the heat pump in a manner such that the power consumed for heat-generating by the heat pump conforms to the surplus power per unit of time, wherein the operation control step involves: permitting consumption of power supplied from an energy provider, and controlling the operation of the heat pump in a manner such that the reverse flow of the surplus power is close to zero, when the size of the impact exceeds a first pre-set threshold; and permitting the reverse flow of the surplus power, and controlling the operation of the heat pump in a manner such that the amount of consumption of the power supplied from the energy provider is close to zero, when the size of the impact is equal to or less than a second pre-set threshold. |
