<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve characteristics of a lithium polymer battery by a simple method, related to improvement of rate characteristics and cycle characteristics, and prevention of swelling of a cell or the like, when increasing energy density of the lithium polymer battery. <P>SOLUTION: A lithium polymer battery comprises at least a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator, and a gel electrolyte. The gel electrolyte contains a solvent, a cross-linking type polymer, a polymerization initiator, and sulfonic acid ester. Graphite is used as a negative electrode active material, and the active material has a density of 1.35 g/cm<SP POS="POST">3</SP>or more and 1.65 g/cm<SP POS="POST">3</SP>or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
