<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply device of an internal combustion engine, which is capable of suppressing generation of oxides, by preventing air bubbles from remaining in a high-pressure fuel pump when pressurized. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel supply device 10 is configured such that a discharge side of a low pressure feed pump 13 is connected with an intake side of a high-pressure fuel pump 14 by a low pressure passage 16, and the fuel discharged from the low pressure feed pump 13 is pressurized by the high-pressure fuel pump 14 and is delivered to a fuel injection valve 11. The device performs decrease processing for decreasing a discharge pressure of the low pressure feed pump 13 by a predetermined amount of decrease. The low pressure passage 16 includes a gas-liquid separation unit 26 in which a wall 26a forming a passage is constituted by a material that passes gas and does not pass liquid. The gas-liquid separation unit 26 is disposed in a surge tank 5 of the internal combustion engine 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
