<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support a user with a method of correctly connecting a connection port of an MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) apparatus and an RF (Radio Frequency) coil device according to the connection situation of both. <P>SOLUTION: In one embodiment, the MRI apparatus includes a plurality of connection ports, a collation part, and a connection guide part. The plurality of connection ports correspond to different RF coil devices respectively and relay at least one of the transmission of RF signals and the reception of magnetic resonance signals. The collation part acquires identification information from the RF coil device connected to the connection ports, and determines, on the basis of the identification information, whether or not the RF coil device and the connection port correspond to each other at the connection place. When the collation part determines that they do not correspond to each other, the connection guide part transmits at least one of information indicating that the RF coil device and the connection port do not correspond to each other at the connection place and the position information of the connection port corresponding to the RF coil device at the connection place where they do not correspond to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
