FILLER COMPOSITION COMPRISING BETA-GLUCANS

The present invention pertains to a filler composition comprising ß- glucan moieties and optionally a cosmetically and/or pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. It further relates to a filler composition, wherein said ß-glucan moieties are cross-linked. In one embodiment of the instant invention the filler composition is a dermal filler. In one further embodiment of the present invention the filler composition is for the treatment of wrinkles and/or folds. In another embodiment of the instant invention the filler composition is for use in the treatment of a medical condition. The filler composition provided in the present invention may further comprise one or more active pharmaceutical ingredients. Further, the present invention pertains to a process for preparing the filler composition as claimed herein.
